Olympics 2012 (London 2012)

London 2012 Officially known as the Summer olympics 2012 has lately begun at July 27. "Isles of Wonder" is the name given to the opening ceremony. Opening ceremony was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II, accompanied by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. According to reports, the gala opening ceremony was watched by 27 million UK viewers. This event is intended to last till 12 August 2012. However the 1st group event started 2 days ago at 25th july .. i.e Womens football. In this grand event more than 10000 great athletes for about 204 National Olympics Committees NOC are expected to participate. In this grand event about 11 billion Pounds is expected to be the total budget, and about 70000 volunteers are planned to be made. The ticket price range from 20 pounds to 2000 pounds and price varied with the event and the seat. Still more than 7,000,000 tickets were sold and it is expected to raise £375–£400 millions just by selling tickets. This grand event is supposed to be sponsored by Acer, Atos, Coca-Cola, Dow, General Electric, McDonald's, Omega SA, Panasonic, Procter & Gamble, Samsung and may be some more.
